Los Angeles Kings at Tampa Bay Lightning (-125, 5.5)

The Kings sat goalie Jonathan Quick in favor of Erik ERsberg on Wednesday but aren't contemplating a change in who wears the mask.

"Quick is my No. 1 goaltender," coach Terry Murray told ESPN.com. "He had played 12 in a row and 16 of 17. I saw a couple of areas in his game in his last start in Chicago that just needed some practice time."

Maybe what Murray saw was Quick's .898 save percentage, which ranks 36th in the NHL. He is 10-7 with a 2.69 GAA but has lost four of his last six starts.

Ersberg made the most of his opportunity and notched his first win of the season, stopping woeful Carolina, 5-2. It was his first action since Oct. 14.

Murray said Quick will be back in net Friday in Atlanta. He likely will start against the Lightning.

Tampa Bay has won the last three meetings, allowing just four goals.

Vancouver Canucks at Colorado Avalanche (-125, 5.5)

The Avalanche likely will be getting back right wing Milan Hejduk, which is a big deal.

Hejduk is third on the team with 14 points (seven goals, seven assists) but has missed the last two games with a back injury. With Hejduk healthy, the Avalanche were 12-2-3. Without him, they are 0-2, including their first loss in seven home games this season.

Hejduk skated Friday and is expected to play with rookie Matt Duchene, who as gone without a point in his last five games and needs a spark.
