Akiyama defeated Belcher in a split decision. A fight I though that Belcher won hands down. Not sure what the judges saw that I didn't but hopefully K will clue me in.

Dan Henderson beat the living hell out of Michael Bisping with a thundering right hand in the second round that was a KO to Bisbing and for good measure he gave him a second right while he was laying out on the mat.

Chants of USA all over the place. Henderson says he will be at the Brew Club at the Monte Carlo having some beers. Gotta fn love it.

Georges St Pierre in a 5 round to the distance total domination over Thiago Alves. St Pierre was in control from the get go and was never in any jeopardy.

Lesnar destroyed Mir in about 1.5 rounds. He had Mir on the ground early in the first round and kept him there and kept hitting strong rights to the face. In the second round Mir hit a knee early but Lesnar shook it off got Mir to the ground again and finished him off.

The fans were totally against Brock and booed like nuts after he won. Lesnar gave the fans a double finger salute and then got in Mir's face and then was pulled away.

During the interview Brock urged the fans on to boo because he loved it and said he was going home and having a Coors Light since Bud Light won't pay him. LMAO that was classic. He also said he was going to kick back with his friends and then might get on top of his wife and left the ring.

I like Lesnar a lot and maybe I am a bit partial because I liked what he did in WWE even though it was scripted this guy was big, bad and took no shit. You need that in UFC and he takes it all the way. He avenged his loss against Mir in a big way and if he can stay hungry to prove his critics wrong he can be the champ for quite some time. He has a lot of upside potential still. Scary....

Jon Fitch defeated Paulo Thiago in a match that was fought on the ground pretty much the whole three rounds. Nothing of excitement in stand up position. Thiago had a few moments mainly in the first round but couldn't take full advantage of his position. Thiago takes his first loss. A rather quiet crowd throughout and not a good follow up to the main event.
