Any thoughts on this game? I have to believe the Celtics do not want to get in another Atlanta like series. With the best road record in the NBA I think Boston makes a big push here to win this game. Plus Allen is due for a huge game.

Can the Cavs possibly rely on Ilgauskus and Lebron? Lebron is becoming like an NFL running back taking on 30 carries a game every game for years. He has to slow up and I think it is showing. Not to mention they are playing the equivalent of Steelers defense.

Thoughts?

It seems like the Celtics should be due for a good road performance and that they are the better team. I don't trust them for the following reasons.

As the leader of the team, Garnett has not proven anything to me in all his years, in the playoffs; except for being a good fade.

Boston has not come close to winning a road game in the postseason.

The home teams are 14-1 SU in the 2nd round, and Detroit won their game by only 1 point.

The public and every tout will be on Boston and we all saw what happened to the Lakers and Hornets yesterday under those conditions.

This is looking like another big bookie game.

I will pass on the game but may play at halftime.

Good Luck.

I like the feedback and solid response. I went against the grain with the Jazz yesterday but at least this line is not moving 3 points!

Appreciate the feedback

There is something that supports the play on Boston. When teams lose by more than 3 times their average winning margin, they do very well in the following game. Boston averages winning by 10 points in all games this season and since they lost by almost 20 last time, they qualify as a play in today's game.

True...if Boston is going to put up a fight in Detroit they better get used to winning a game on the road. I think this may be the game.

I'll be honest I have watched a total of 5 minutes of NBA playoffs so far. That was yesterday the first 5 minutes of the second 1/2 of LA/UTAH. I have been disenchanted with the NBA after the ref scandal. Not that it surprised me, but to think they only nailed one shows how stupid this league is.

NFL and MLB along with horse racing is about it for me. Of course poker is where you will see me more often than not anymore. We should get up a game some time over at Raiseandfold.

Excuse me I forgot my manners, welcome aboard Scal9, keep the posts coming and if you know others that post, send em along.
