It was less than 30 days ago at the French open where Nadal -200 beat federer, so why is Federer a -650 favorite in today's match? The answer is in the court surface.

Nadal has a 8-4 heads up record against federer but federer is 1-0 on a grass court, which happened to be last year in this tounament.

I'l take my chances with Nadal at +500 in this one. I don't think that the court surface is worth the $850 swing.

Ramins-I was considering this as well, my son plays tournament tennis in North Carolina 16 and under and I asked his opinion on this and he says Federer will win this easily. I hope you are right and he is wrong if you have already wagered on this match! I am the baseball expert in the family, he's the tennis expert! Good luck to you on the match.

First of all, welcome to the site.. Make sure to post your Baseball picks in the PTC section. This is not a competition on who is the best handicapper. We're just trading information, So don't be shy.

I played the match because it starts before I'll wake up later today. Federer can win the match but it won't be easy. Nadal has the speed, power and confidence to win. I'm just taking the value although it may be fool's gold.

With the Iceman Bjorn Borg in the stands, Roger Federer made history by winning his 5th straight Wimbledon title.

Although the points total were a draw (24 to 24), Federer pulled away in the 5th set to defend his title and become one of the best players of all time.

I guess the court surface does matter !!!!

Yes, the court surface matters a lot but it was federer's mental condition that helped him out of this difficult situation. again he made the same mistakes like in most previous matches against Rafael to try and beat him from the baseline which is impossible. No one can do that, he is invincible from there. Only in the 5th set did Roger change the pace using his deep slice and finished it off at the net after surprise attacks. That's the only way.
