Gelded son of Carson City was way overmatched in his career debut facing the likes of stakes runner Neko Bay. Dropped in class against maiden 32,000 company he overcame a slow pace and a troubled trip to get up at the wire. He was claimed that day by trainer Sam Semkin, who in his two subsequent starts, ambitiously spotted the 3yo against older company. Placed in a slightly better spot last out, the gelding unfortunately bled profusely but did remarkably well to finish an even 4th. Veteran horseman Spawr can be expected to help with that issue and move this runner forward first start for the barn. Has the tactical speed to sit a good trip.
