ouch! took a beating last night, but that is ok. my goofy system is not going to win every night. if it did, i think i could pretty much quit my daytime job, all we all know that is never going to happen. overall i am still very happy with this new goofy system and i will continue with it.
alot of rain on the east coast today/tonight, so i expect there will be some rainouts.
phillies +107 vs baltimore (3 units)..............phillies continue to find ways to lose games. baltimore playing decent ball and this kid pitching for them is supposed to be pretty good. phils don't hit lefties very well either. maybe cole hamels has been brought up a little too early. he has really struggled with his control and not been the pitcher people thought, including myself. i really don't have a single reason to take the philllies tonight, so that is why i am taking them.
mets +122 vs boston (3 units).....the redsox have just been amazing, winners of nine straight. this lester guy pitching for them tonight has looked very good. between that and the red hot bats, they should win again tonight. mets have been more beatable as of late too. this is the time i would start riding the redsox and i am usually too late. something tells me the mets win this one.
detroit -144 vs houston (2 units).................are you kidding me? rogers clemems as a decent sized dog. THIS IS A MORTAL LOCK, MY GAME OF THE YEAR!! if i had a million dollars, i could put it all on the rocket and make alot of money. well, you all know how that works, think i better take the other team. give me the tigers.
florida +102 vs tampa bay (2 units)............once again, tampa is well known for their great interleague play, but they have dropped the last two. normally i would really load up on then now thinking no way they lose three in a row. well, it is thinking like that, that has put me down so far in units this year. that is why going opposite of myself has worked so well recently.
like usual, my next two 1 unit plays are teams that appear to have no chance at winning tonight.
pittsburgh +162 vs white sox
washington +196 vs toronto
you really do have to be crazy to think either one of those two teams has a shot tonight.
betting this way is so hard to do. to put money on teams i think are going to lose. i can't believe i have the guts to do this, especially after nights like last night when i went 1-5. my usual way of thinking would have netted me a 5-1 night.
