even when I win I lose. What was the contest worth? Just curous on how much it cost me playing stupid online poker instead of getting to the pub sooner.

Hey gip, the mountain boys did pretty well last two weeks. We got 1 bear on opening day (325 pounds).

Bubba shot it and with the help of State Police Helicopter, they hovered over him in the scrubs, we found him. Pretty wild.

Yesterday, I nicked a 10 pointer at 7:15 then Bagged a 9 pointer(21 inch spread)at 2:30 PM Booby Stair nailed an eight pointer yesterday at 7:20 am.

Boys justed checked in this am with report, Chad nailed the 10 pointer I grazed yesterday morning, another wall mounter. Great year so far!

Guess the antler restriction code is finally taking effect.

Great Job Stew!!!

Big Al tagged a 6 Pointer that took a dive off a cliff. He ended up picking up the antlers, nothing worth putting on the wall. The guys he hunts with got two nice 8 Pointers and a bunch of does for the freezer.

Nice hunting this year, that's for sure.

I just started a new job and couldn't take any days off.


I have a 12 & 10 Pointer in the backyard on my 9 Acres. One of them will be drying out in my back yard this Saturday.

Not real hunting but it's been hard getting out with a New Job and a New Born Baby #3 this year.

I'll shoot southpaw to make things even and put away the salt lick and apples.

Keep me up to date. Maybe Freak can open a thread for Hunters?

well gip, last day is today what happened?

My season turned up ugly after all this. Skinned out my deer, deer was "not fit" and could not be processed, diseased. Wardens came & took deer & horns everything (issued new tag).

I was pumped about heading back out with high powered rifle but got nailed hard with flu, been in bed past 4. Can't barley hear now. head congested. not so euphoric any more.....

Will check with twinners tonight to get final update.

Looking forward to black powder day after Xmas . That's when the real hunters come out LOL
