well, i hit my top two plays last weekend (houston and colorado st), but went only 1-4 with the remaining plays. on the plus side (barely) on this young season, not great, but better than losing. i should be able to do better than barely keeping my head above water..

another note......when i list these plays, even if i don't post until thursday or friday, it is with the line that i bet at the time. for instance, i jumped on colorado state +7.5 on tuesday as i see this line dropping later on in the week.

colorado state +7.5 over ucla (best bet)..............i want to know....what is so special about ucla this year?? colorado state has already proven themselves, they have two games under their belt and ucla is playing their first game. alot of trends point towards ucla, but i am not a trend player. i get the feeling the rams might get their first loss of the season, but no way ucla covers more than a touchdown. of course i wuold not be shocked to see colorado state win this outright either. i think the books want you to think this is a trap and bet ucla. i love this one.

syracuse -6 over north carolina (strong play).............not impressed with carolina at all. i really think syracuse will bounce back strong at home after losing to byu. i don't think this game will even be close.

boston college -7 over stanford (regular play).....boston college did not look good at all last week, but i am not going to fall for that. they did not care about that game, and will show today that they were thinking about this one. eagles by at least 14.

duke +17 over louisville (opinion)..........what is wrong with louisville? i don't like their state of mind right now after losing to kentucky and how can they get up for duke? i don't think they can, and will not cover this large number on the road. take the points.

pittsburgh +3.5 over texas A&M (opinion).........i really thought pitt would be favored in this one. this is definitely a statement game for pitt. they need to beat a team of this caliber to prove they belong with the better teams in college football. coach harris has this team going in the right direction. he will not allow them to start the season like they did last year.

purdue +6 over notre dame (opinion).........i think notre dame is a trap here. after beating maryland last week and to come home and only be favored by six....something is up. i will try a small wager on purdue.

wisconsin -10.5 over west virginia (opinion).........just have a gut feeling the badgers blow them out.
