best bets (6-8)<BR>strong plays (6-8)<BR>regular plays (9-6)<BR>opinions (10-7)<P>overall record (31-29)<P>was i ever way off on the louisville/colorado state game. i loved the over, and they only<BR>scored 9 points. a need to forget about what a horrible pick that was and get on to this<BR>weeks games...............<P>ohio state -2.5 over northwestern (best bet)..........northwestern has a fine team, but they<BR>should be getting more than 2.5 at ohio state. ohio state wins this easier than most people<BR>think. ohio state by at least ten points.<P>auburn -2.5 over miss. state (best bet)........ditto from the above game. to me, this game<BR>mirrors the ohio state/northwestern game. i will gladly lay less than three at home vs miss.<BR>state. auburn by at least 10 points.<P>washington -5 over usc (best bet).....i see a trend on my picks now. small home favorites<BR>who should be favored by more than what they are. i have washington winning this by at<BR>least 7 points.<P>connecticut +2 over eastern michigan (strong play).......this is strictly a power ratings play<BR>for me. wrong team favored in this one. i know both teams suck, but i am taking the<BR>better of the two teams at home plus the points.<P>texas -3 over oklahoma (strong play)....the sooners are still a very good team, but i think<BR>they are getting too much credit this year based on last years team. texas every bit as<BR>good as the sooners, and i get the feeling texas wins this won rather easy, something like<BR>34-20.<P>oklahoma st -7 over missouri (strong play)......i just feel the cowboys are much better than<BR>the tigers this year. oklahoma state rolls in this game by at least 21 points.<P>wake forest +4 over nc state (regular play)......nc state not as strong as i thought they<BR>would be this year. this just smell like a three point game to me with either team winning. <BR>home field goes to wake and that makes the difference for me. wake forest 24-21<P>w virgina +15 over virginia tech (regular play).....i went from small home favorites, to<BR>home underdogs. all the home teams are looking good to me this week. virgina tech<BR>usually struggles a couple of times per season with games they should win. even when<BR>michael vick played for them they had some tough games. w virginia is a tough place to<BR>play usually and i see tech struggling to win this game. virgina tech 31-23.<P>rice +4.5 over boise state (opinion)...........boise state probably the better team here, but i<BR>don’t think they should be favored at rice. rice not as bad as people think. great chance<BR>for an outright win here. <P>virginia +8 over maryland (opinion)........i have got burnt on maryland all year, can’t seem<BR>to pick their games right, so i must be crazy to keep playing games involving them. this is<BR>the first road team i have taken this weekend. i just smell a close game here. i don’t see<BR>maryland blowing them out. terps win 31-28<P>
