The investigation of a University of Florida basketball player providing inside information to gamblers revealed a betting ring, and six people have been charged. Another 25 people face minor betting charges as a result of the probe, University Police spokesman Joe Sharkey said. <p>Teddy Dupay, a University of Florida shooting guard, was declared ineligible to play in early September after he was listed as an uncharged co-defendant in a gambling investigation by school police. <p>Authorities said Ralph P. Chick, 48, of Gainesville, took bets on college and professional baseball and football. Wire taps on his phone lines led to additional suspects, police said. <p>Chick was charged with racketeering, bookmaking and criminal conspiracy.

There's a lot of this going on in colleges across America. <p> Florida's one of the major ones who been caught so far (I'm sure this is only the tip of this subject..)
