Time to play the Game
As I do every year, I will be posting my picks to click and betting units involved. I will do this for the whole season, and over years past I have produced winning seasons.

Please take note that the lines mentioned are exactly what I bet them at, when I bet them, I will tell you when I bet them as well. I will not mislead with bogus lines, or bs like others do elsewhere.

I normally pick 3-5 drivers and bet them to win the race, and will have some driver props as well.

So here we go......

All bets will be listed in small amounts rather than the amount I bet, but I have cut them down to make it affordable for everyone to play along.

Daytona 500 Race 1 of the season.....

All of the following odds are from today within the last 15 minutes at the following books:

Dale Earnhardt Jr +350 @ Superbook 60 to win 210
Kevin Harvick +3500 @ Superbook 10 to win 350
Dale Jarrett +1600 @ Superbook 20 to win 320
Jimmie Johnson +650 @ 5 Dimes 40 to win 260
Tony Stewart +1100 @ 5 Dimes 25 to win 275

Driver Props

Earnhardt Jr -126 over Jeff Gordon 126 to win 100

Props and win wager tallies will be keep separate.

On a side note, if you like Stewart, he just went to +1150 at Pinnacle from +800... strange bump up in price, but it beat the +1100 I got.

If you want to join in, feel free to add to this season long post.

Good luck and enjoy the race.

I have Gordon +116 over Dale Jr at Pinnacle. I am also considering Harvick to win. Good luck.

I also should have put a bone on Gordon to win, but it was a hell of a finish. It appeared that Dale Jr had the better car but he got boxed in after Gordon passed him right before the caution.

Not exactly the way to start off the season, a good race nonetheless.

Drivers to win -155
Driver H2H -126

Overall -281

Funny thing was I got down to Harvick and Gordon, and went with the longer odds.... that's gambling folks....

Next week is Fontana.....

Drivers to win -255
Drivers H2H -126

Two weeks ago, we needed just 1/2 more lap for Johnson to win.... alas that is racing

Now we are in Las Vegas, and I have some bombers to go with one of the logical choices.

First all these plays were made at Pinnacle, and I have decreased the bet size so all can play along.

First the obvious

Kenseth +540 30 to win 162

The almost logical

Kahne +904 20 to win $180
Sadler +1144 20 to win $228

The bombers

Stewart +2600 10 to win 260
Earnhardt Jr +6500 5 to win 325

H2H

Biffle -130 over Carl Edwards 130-100

Good luck....

Here we go to the Golden Corral 500 in Atlanta....

The obvious:

Driver that is on fire, and won here last year.

Jimmie Johnson +435 $40 to win $174

Drivers with a chance:

Pole sitter and a top 5 spot to start, two aggressive drivers, and they can win.

Ryan Newman +1442 $20 to win $288.40
Kasey Kahne +2397 $10 to win $239.70

The long shots:

These odds are just very juicy and both these drivers have done well in Atlanta

Kevin Harvick +5598 $5 to win $279.90
Bobby Labonte +8136 $5 to win $406.80

All bets were placed at Pinnacle.

Remember the bet amounts reflect what I feel anyone can play, and make it so you can get in the race for under $100.

Good luck no matter what you play.

Well the last race was exciting, and another close loss with Jimmie Johnson..... Thought we had that race, but momentum wasn't on our side at the line.

Update Drivers to win -420
Head to Head -26

Today the Food City 500 @ Bristol

Weather has played havoc this weekend, and the temp at the track will be lucky to hit the 60 mark... Tires will make a difference today...

Remember the goal of this thread is to get you in the race for under $100 when betting on drivers to win.

A rare 6 pack today, and it is because I couldn't cut the 6th due to a heavy hunch feeling.

First the logical.....

Jeff Gordon +670 30 to win 201
Kurt Busch +650 30 to win 195
Rusty Wallace +839 20 win 167.80

The Long Shots
Ryan Newman +1750 10 to win 175
Kevin Harvick +1111 15 to win 166.65

The Bomber

Matt Kenseth +2880 10 to win $288.80

Kenseth is the hunch play for me in this race....

No driver vs driver race this week.

Good luck everyone, and enjoy the race, let's hope it goes the whole way.....

Harvick wins last weeks race and we score a $67 profit for the race.

Update Drivers to win -353
Head to Head -26

This week looks as follows:

The contenders

Rusty Wallace 8-1 $25 to win $200
Kevin Harvick 8-1 $25 to win $200

In with a chance

Tony Stewart 10-1 $20 to win $200
Ryan Newman 12-1 $15 to win $180

The Longshot

Bobby Labonte 20-1 $10 to win $200

All plays at Pinnacle.

Remember the rules are I bet $100 or less on at least 5 drivers. This is so everyone can get in the race cheap.

This should be a good race, and almost a mirror image of last week, if that is the case, we are going to be looking good down the stretch.

Good luck everyone, and keep posting in the forum.

Freak great call on Harvik. I know you like him.

I love Rusty today too. 8-1
Of course E. Sadler @ 30-1 is my LS
Also got a feeling Matt Kensith does some damage today. Last weeks race was flat out fun to watch.

Some races aren't meant to be, and last week was one them. Had all the drivers in the hunt all day except Newman, and the race fell apart in the end.

The total goes to -448
Head to Head -26

On to the Samsung 500

The Obvious

Kahne +501 $30 to win $150.30

The Contender

Gordon +1003 $20 to win $200.60

In with a shot....

Sadler +1677 $15 to win $251.55
Stewart +1802 $15 to win $278.25

The Bomber

Wallace +5500 $5 to win $275

Head to Head

Biffle +142 over Mark Martin $100 to win $142

All bets are at Pinnacle, you simply can't beat the odds they offer on NASCAR.

Remember futures are limited to $100 so you can get in all the drivers.

It has been a tough season to date, a lot of second and thirds, and races that should've been won, lost very very late.

If you are following along, would love to hear from you, and be sure to check out Pinnacle if you're betting NASCAR.

Ok so we have night racing in Phoenix.

Remember the rule I have is I show you how to bet $100 per race on the drivers to win, and some matchups if they look good to bet on. The matchups are to win $100 or bet $100 to win x?

Last week none of the drivers did well, lots of early and late problems that cost us all chances.

The bright spot is the $85 lost on the drivers was won back and a little more on the match up as Biffle @ +142 not only won the matchup, but won the race.

So we showed a modest profit of $57

Drivers to win -533
Matchups +116
Overall -417

I am going for value this week and have used up the entire $100 I recommend so here it is:

The Obvious

Jeff Gorden +700 $30 to win $210

Contenders

Tony Stewart +1200 $17 to win $204
Ryan Newman +1300 $16 to win $208
Earnhardt Jr +1600 $13 to win $208
Kasey Kahne +1600 $13 to win $208

Bombs Away

Elliott Sadler +5000 $4 to win $200
Jamie McMurray +4500 $5 to win $225
Sterlin Marlin +10000 $2 to win $200

Drivers matchups

Bobby Labonte -105 over Joe Nemechek $105 to win $100

Earnhardt Jr +113 over Harvick $100 to win $113

So we have a lot of drivers that can win for us tonight.

Enjoy the race, it should be a good one, under the lights back East, but still sunny and warm in Phoenix, but the race will end under the lights at PIR.

Good luck

We open up this week at Talledega. First the unfinished business from last week.

Drivers lost us 100, matchups won us 213, a profit of $113 overall.

Snake bit with drivers, but matchups are getting us back in business. Not the way I like to go, but, it happens sometimes.

Drivers to win -633
Matchups +329
Overall -304
Last week +113

Now we get to the superspeedway.... all wagers are from Pinnacle, and by now, everyone should know how I do this....

The Logical....

Jeff Gordon +505 40 to win 220

In with a shot.....

Kevin Harvick +702 30 to win 210.60
Jimmie Johnson +916 22 to win 201.52

The bombs....

Elliott Sadler +3599 5 to win 179.95
Matt Kenseth +6000 3 to win 180

Normally a track I play heavy on DEI, not today, I don't think they are in sync as a team, and while they likely will contend, and may win, I am going against them today.

Matchups.....

Jeff Gordon -112 over E JR 112 to win 100
Elliott Sadler -120 over Jarrett 120 to win 100

Good luck all......

Well last week was in the bag with 3 laps to go, until Mark Martin spun out, and they brought out the flag even though they didn't need to.

Cost us a win with Ryan Newman last week, and it was $$ in the bag.

So the figures stand:

Drivers -579
Match Up +529
Overall -50

For tonight:

The favorite

Tony Stewart +500 40 to win 200

In with a shot.....

Ryan Newman +900 22 to win 198
Jimmie Johnson +1000 20 to win 200

The Long Shots

Dale Earnhardt Jr +1600 12 to win 196Matt Kenseth +3500 6 to win 210

No matchups this week, we should be in contention all night.

After a week off the regular circuit we are back in business with the Coca Cola 600.

Here is the updated stats for the season..

Drivers to win -673
Match Ups +529
Overall -144

Still a long way to go, and tonight's race is going to be a fun one. There is the usual favorites for this race and track, and let's see if we can make some $$$..

I am going to go against all the favorites today and look to score with a long shot....

Sadler +1000 $20
Kenseth +1200 $17
Stewart +1200 $17
Harvick +1500 $14
McMurray +2500 $10
Waltrip +3000 $10
Edwards +3500 $10

Total wagered $98

7 drivers 7 shots to win, and I think all of them have a better chance to win than the odds show.

It was definitely a tough race, Edwards had his shot with 9 laps to go as well, but I think the fooling around with Jarrett screwed him.

That's racing and Johnson is living a charmed life at that track.
