This team is absolutely pathetic. They are definitely in the crossroads. They suffer the task of deciding do we scrap the season after 35 games or so, and see what the young guys will do, or do we try to right the ship.<P>This ship will sink, it has too much water already. They have aging veterans that at one time were stars, now has beens with high payroll.<P>The fan base has dwindled, the stadium is an absolute joke, and they have no chance at all to win. Think about it they play 1 /3 of their season vs Boston, Toronto and New York..<P>How many of those 57 can they win... 10 ? 12? if even that. So kiss them goodbye year in year out for having any chance at all.<P>Might as well give the youngsters a shot, and try to weed out the vets that are there to collect a pay check only.<P>Tough times in tampa indeed..

I wonder if it would be a good idea just to bet against the Devil Rays the rest of the season? They have a .289 winning percentage as of yesterday. I'll have to look into this. Any opinions would be appreciated.
