The White Sox and the Yankees will begin making up
a series that was postponed due to the terriosts attacks
against our country.

Although the are out of any playoff contention, the
White Sox have assured themselves a second consecutive
winning season, and are now winners of eight of ten games.

We just think back to the end of last year, as the
Yankees tanked their final games coming down the stretch,
as they were most assuredly resting up their eventual World
Series run.

The Yankees are now 4-5-1 in their last ten games, and
struggled to look good against some of the weakest comp that
the AL has to offer.

Hitchcock lasted only 2.2 innings in his last outing
against the Orioles in a 11-2 Yankees lost. The Yankees had
won his two previous starts, but his pitching was still poor
and was let off the hook as the Yankees scored just enough to
secure the victory.

Wells, who has primarily been used in the bullpen, has
come into the rotation and the Sox has won his last two starts.
In fact, this is only his third start since August 7th. He was
the starting pitcher in a 7-5 Sox win against the Yankees on
September 20th.

With the Yankees history of failing to finish the regular
season with any fervor, and the Sox playing hot ball (8 of 10)
coming down the stretch I see this as an excellent opportunity
to take the Sox to win a game against these Yanks
