Take Oakland Raiders UNDER 4.5 wins +170 as your season long wager.

Do not take Under 5 +105. 5 Dimes has the Under 4.5 option.

You see 5 maybes with two of them with *. The * is because they will split with the Chiefs but won't win both. I see at most a potential of 4 wins and I think I stretched it out to get to those 4 potential wins.

Game 1 in the books.

Raiders 0-1

Called this one right.

Long way to go but now they have to win 5 of 15 games to be beat.

Game 2 in the books.

Raiders 0-2

After week 1, I didn't think Oakland had any chance against Houston.

There is no way the Raiders are winning 5 games this year.

They easily can start the year at 0-10.

With the way the offense has looked the first two weeks, sure it can get better but as I stated from the outset they are so far behind every one else that it didn't matter who/where they upgraded.

New England should be favored by 2 TDS or more. Then after that ass whipping, they fly to London. Then get a week off to face two good defenses at home before flying back east again to take on Cleveland who is vastly improved.

Then at Seattle, home for Denver and on the road to San Diego.

Even if they win 1 of these games either against Miami or Cleveland that's their best shot of winning any in the next 8.

However I just don't see it at all.

Game 3 in the books.

Raiders 0-3

There will be a lot of talk about how the Raiders played gritty in New England this past Sunday. I say, watch the game and see how poorly Brady and the offense played. In all reality though they went through the motions and scored just enough without putting in much effort.

After all they didn't want the Raiders heading to London with a 52-7 type loss. What kind of sendoff would that be for the NFL.

Dolphins are up next and currently a 4 to 5 point favorite. Miami looked horrible at home against KC.

This may end up being the Raiders best chance to win a game to date and for the first 10 games of the season.

I have to admit, it's hard to root against my favorite team but being realistic there isn't much to cheer for. My wife is a Dolphins fan and we make a wager every time they play. I told her this year we can't wager because I'll be rooting for the Dolphins. She laughed and said she won't hold me to a wager this year because she knows why.

Good thing, but in reality this year it would've been worth losing.

Game 4 in the books.

Raiders 0-4

The Raiders best drive on the season was the first drive of the game vs Miami. Up 7-0 they didn't hold serve long giving up 38 straight points before getting a garbage 4th quarter TD in losing 38-14.

It was hard to fathom that the money flowed in on the Raiders early in the week and the line went down to Miami -3.5. I imagine after how bad Miami looked the last two weeks people thought the Raiders had a chance.

Well one thing is for certain the Raiders won't lose next week. They get the bye week then the losing will resume in earnest.

San Diego must love their schedule, Jaguars, Jets at home then Oakland.

0-10 is still in play.

We are back in action with this wager Sunday. One thing was guaranteed last Sunday. The Raiders couldn't lose.

No bye this week. Chargers should dominate.

Game 5 in the books.

Raiders 0-5

The Raiders most valiant effort of the season thus far. Nonetheless the results remained the same in a 31-28 loss at home to San Diego.

Raiders looked to play a lot harder after the bye week and a lot of effort was put into it. However in the end they failed to get the job done and now get another home game this time versus the Arizona Cardinals.

This is a game that the Raiders stand a shot in winning. Carson Palmer coming back to Oakland will bring out another max effort by the Raiders. That is if they have anything left after a strong willed, emotional game like this last one.

You know Palmer is going to come in and want to kick ass and stick it to his old club and show he wasn't washed up as they thought he was.

Truth is it didn't matter what QB was there, they were going to look the same if not worse than Palmer. This team is well beyond saving from a QB perspective.

They really need to implode this team, get rid of the old money sucking veterans and go with youth and build the team up. These veterans are going through the motions and they got their money and know this team isn't going anywhere.

Should be an interesting game. AZ opened as a 3.5 favorite.

A nice long road trip to Cleveland awaits after this one.

Game 6 in the books.

Raiders 0-6

10 games left for the Raiders and they need to go 5-5 to bust my Mortal Lock of the season.

They aren't winning 5 games here. They may not even win a game period. The only chance I see for them is at home vs Buffalo.

That's it now. I can't even see them splitting with KC now either. KC has played some good ball and lost a few they should've won. The Rams are better than expected and it's a road game.

1-15 or 0-16 will be their record. Being close, almost, could have, maybes don't equate to wins.

Game 7 in the books.

Raiders 0-7

9 games remain. Is there anyway the Raiders finish the season 5-4 and bust up the mortal lock.

NO CHANCE !!!!!

They have two games that they may stay involved in. St Louis and Buffalo. If they are to win a game, these are the only shots and even then it is a total long shot.

Magic number is 5.

Game 8 in the books and the half way point of the season for the Raiders.

Raiders stand at 0-8.

Raiders actually played a pretty good game at Seattle and battled back from an early hole.

8 games remains. Raiders must go 5-3 the rest of the way to crush the Mortal Lock.

Magic # is now 4.

Next up a home game versus what should be an angry Broncos team. Not that the Broncos need the motivation but they won't come in taking the Raiders lightly.

Game 9 in the books

Raiders up 10-6 in the 2nd quarter and get outscored 35-0 before a late score with under 2 minutes to go in the game vs back ups and Oakland loses 41-17 to go 0-9 for the season.

Magic number stands at 3 and this wager is just not in doubt at all.

The only question that remains is if the sportsbooks will pay out before season end or make us all wait until the end.

The Raiders are seriously staring at an 0-16 season.

Games that were maybes or possibilities are really no longer.

The maybe with the Chiefs based on a split just isn't going to happen. The Chiefs are a really good under the radar team. They just don't put themselves in situations to fail very often. If Charles can stay healthy and Alex Smith continues to manage games and not make mistakes, watch out.

I remember while in Vegas entering the Super Contest, someone was going around telling everyone that Kansas City under 8 wins was a lock. That didn't turn out so good it appears.

Bills are better as well and that defense is pretty stout. Only question is will the offense score.

Time will tell but this Mortal Lock is looking great.

Game 10 in the books.

Raiders lose 13-6 to go 0-10 on the season. 6 games left to go. Can the Raiders go 5-1 the final six games and steal all the money.



I think she summed it up pretty well don't you.

So some of you are thinking the Raiders only lost by 7 they are getting better.

9 first downs, 2 of which came on the ground. 3 of 15 on 3rd down.

71 rushing yards, how many did the kid have for New England, oh yeah 199.

Just think, this coming Thursday if you haven't seen the Raiders this year, you get to see them featured in the Thursday Night game on the NFL Network.

My opinion hasn't changed, 0-16 is looking more and more likely.

Which will lead me to Mortal Lock #2

Well the Raiders broke through on Thursday night and won the Super Bowl. Excuse me their first win of the year.

This puts them 1-10 and still firmly out of the playoff race except for the top pick of next years NFL Draft.

The biggest surprise of the game was the Raiders 8 of 16 on 3rd down while KC went 2 of 14 only.

If you look at the box score on this game, for the most part it was as even as it gets except in the third down area.

The pass interference call on the last drive to me was the back breaker for KC. 3rd and 9 from the KC 29 with a tad over 2 minutes to go. The sad thing is there wasn't a need for PI there.

Then the final drive by KC, it would've been fitting if KC got the play off while the two jackasses were celebrating like they won the Super Bowl. Luckily for them they had time outs and got one.

1-10 with 5 games to go.

This win may have crushed Mortal Lock II with absolutely no fan fare or a few game run but there is absolutely no fn way they are going to win 4 of 5 games and crash this mortal lock.

I think I might shut down the forum for good out of total embarrassment if it happens.

The Raiders coming off their first win of the year. 10 days to prepare go to St Louis as a touchdown underdog and lose 52-0.

Record now stands at 1-11 with 4 games to go.

It's hard to imagine that STL and OAK both had 17 first downs in the game.

Raiders had 75 plays to Rams 49

5 turnovers was the difference.

SF should be at least a TD favorite on the road next week and following the game, your sportsbook should pay you on your wager.

Well... Well... Well...

The 49ers come to Oakland and lay the proverbial egg. I'll still give credit to the Oakland defense for the job they did against the lethargic SF offense.

Oakland improves to 2-11 and is looking to give away the #1 pick in the 2015 draft.

Next up at the KC Chiefs, where pay back is due and the Chiefs need a win after losing to Arizona today.

Sportsbooks get to keep our money another week but they will be paying out on this wager next week for certain.

It took an extra week to cash but in the end. The Mortal Lock of the Year came in at nice + $$$$

Raiders were given pay back by the Chiefs today and even the garbage TD in the end didn't make it close.

For those of you that listened to me, your sportsbook if online should grade this today. If you are in Vegas they won't pay out till the end of the season.

This is typically how it works. If for some reason your online book hasn't graded the wager, contact them to have them do it.

Best the Raiders can do is go 2-14 and they have Buffalo at home and Denver on the road to end the season.
