This will officially mark the final regular season week of the NCAA Football season outside of Army/Navy.

The great thing about doing this during the regular season is that I started doing this seven weeks into the season. There wasn't any phony rankings or hype put into it. It was and has been based on what I've seen on the field. Like everyone else, I have opinions and for whatever reason on this forum I am the only one that shared them.

For the majority of the games that actually meant something today, they were nothing but absolute blowouts. The only exception was the Big 10 championship game.

For 30 minutes, the GA game was interesting, the second 1/2 was a LSU domination. OK St just pancaked OK and maybe it wasn't much of a surprise for all the years OK crushed them. Clemson showed up to play and I wonder where did this team go for the last 4-5 games of the season? So Ms in a surprise beat up on Houston and well there went 17 million to CUSA. That's why they play it on the field and hey doesn't the underdog want to be a champion too?

My underdog of the weak goes to the a fore mentioned So Ms. a 12 point underdog in their title game and facing the favorite at their place. They took control early, expanded it in the 3rd and down went Houston and the dream.

I hated to see the Big 10 title game come down to a penalty and an acting job by the Wisconsin punter. It just leaves a bad taste to what was a great game. What helped made it great was Gus Johnson. He is a great announcer and really gets into the game no matter who's playing. Kudos to Fox for bringing their #1 announce team into this game after they did the Pac 12 game the night before.

Let's get into the Top 10

1. LSU.... There was some doubt the first 30 minutes vs GA. An ugly first half and one they got lucky to be as close as they were. Can't imagine any scenario where they don't play Alabama for the National Title.

2. Alabama.... They were in the clubhouse and as I stated, I can't see them leapfrogged by anyone and they should be moving on to play LSU in the National Title game.

3. Stanford.... No change in their position with the week off.

4. Oklahoma St.... As much as I hate to say it, I have to give them their due after crushing Oklahoma. They climb up over Boise this week from #6.

5. Boise St.... An easy win over NM 45-0. It's a shame that they will be ranked so high but won't likely be involved in a BCS game. A 3 minute defensive lapse cost them gravely vs TCU.
This team deserves to be in a BCS game. I feel for them.

6. Arkansas.... They move up 1 from last week and they should land in a nice bowl to close out the year.

7. Oregon.... The Pac 12 Champ and they will take on Wisconsin in the Rose Bowl.

8. USC.... Not eligible for a bowl but definitely one of the Top 10 teams in the country.

9. Kansas St....They debut in the top 10 with a nice closing win over IA St.

10. VA Tech.... That thud you heard was the Hokies falling from #4 to #10 after that poor effort in the ACC title game.

Dropping out #8 Michigan St who lost to Wisconsin
#10 Houston who lost to So. MS.

No bubblers for me to make the top 10.

I really don't want to see Michigan rewarded with a BCS bowl. They don't deserve it, didn't make the title game, lost to MI St and didn't play Wisconsin.

I don't want to see TCU make it either.

My vote which won't matter is for Boise........

More later once all the bowl games are cemented in place.

I am sick and I mean totally sick. I am not sick at all about #1 LSU vs #2 Alabama. They are simply the two best teams. All those crying about Oklahoma St not being in the Championship game.....

Two words: Iowa State

You blew a big lead as a big favorite and I am sorry you lost to a team that finished 6-6. Alabama lost by a FG to the #1 team.

So what am I sick about.......

Why is Michigan in a BCS bowl game? On top of that why in the hell is their opponent Virginia Tech in a BCS Bowl?

Let's play elimination here....

#6 Arkansas couldn't be in a BCS game due to the 2 team max rule in the BCS. They get rewarded with the Cotton Bowl which isn't such a bad thing.

#7 Boise St received a total shaft job. Don't people remember how this teams travels, how they have performed in prior bowl games. They end up in some bullshit Las Vegas Bowl against Arizona St. Are you fucking serious. This is a totally fucking joke. It's fucking embarrassing.

#8. Kansas St 10-2 on the year only losses to OK and OK St. They played the 10th hardest schedule this year and can make a case for playing in a BCS game. They still got a nice reward with a prime time game with Arkansas in the Cotton Bowl.

#9 South Carolina, same story as Arkansas. They do get to go to a nice bowl on January 2nd vs Nebraska in Orlando.

#10 Wisconsin going to the Rose.

#11 VA Tech.... Not sure how they are going to the Sugar Bowl. They played the 56th toughest schedule. Lost twice to Clemson and beat App St, E Carolina and Ark St as their non conference wins. Totally horrible.

#12 Baylor.... I can understand why they didn't go to a BCS bowl. 3 losses to KST, TX A&M and OK St. They did beat TCU to start the season but played Stephen A Austin and Rice. So I have no problem with them not being in.

#13 Michigan.... Are you serious? 42nd hardest schedule, lost to Michigan St, didn't play Wisconsin and had tough non conference games with Eastern and Western Michigan, San Diego St and Notre Dame. May I add they were all at home. They played 2 ranked teams at the time of the game, Michigan St which they lost by 2 td's and Nebraska which they played at home. Did I mention they lost to a 7-5 Iowa by 12....

#14 Oklahoma..... 3 losses this year and not deserving to be in a BCS bowl.

BSPN started touting Michigan a few weeks ago and I stated how gross that was. Well they got their wish and their broadcast rights in the Big 10 into a BCS bowl game they don't deserve.

Rules need to change in the BSCS the BSCS really needs to go away. A lot of really good teams have received the shaft here.

The team that got the raw end of the stick.... Boise St.

17 Million to what $500,000? If I was Boise St, I wouldn't even go to the Las Vegas Bowl. Send the message loud and proud. $500,000 in the scope of things is chump change compared to what it will cost to play the game itself.

Just think of these playoff match ups.......

#1 LSU vs #16 Georgia
#2 Alabama vs #15 Clemson
#3 Oklahoma St vs #14 Oklahoma
#4 Stanford vs #13 Michigan
#5 Oregon vs #12 Baylor
#6 Arkansas vs #11 Virginia Tech
#7 Boise St vs #10 Wisconsin
#8 Kansas St vs #9 South Carolina

They easily could play opening round games at the highest ranked team and use them them as the lower level bowl games.

Then could take the Gator, Rose, Fiesta, Sugar, Orange, Cotton bowl to play 8 down to 2. Then use the BCS Bowl Championship game as the title game. They would bid out the title game to see where it would play and have it set up a few years in advance just like the NCAA Basketball tournament final.

Not that hard to do but greed will prevent it from ever happening!
