America The Beautiful is being performed right now.

The GA Dome is full to capacity and loud as hell. The Rock's music hits and he's on his way to the ring!

If I had to guess, there has to be nearly 80,000 people at this event. I attended WM26 in Glendale last year and was on the floor but this appears to be wayyyyyy more people.

Rock had the crowd do chants it was funny. The Rock is getting the crowd in a frenzy, many Cena sucks and Fruity Pebbles chants. Rock spent nearly 10 minutes and did some catch phrases and basically got the crowd hot.

First match coming up after a short vignette of past WM history and going over some matches for tonight.

Fireworks go off in GA Dome, fans going wild..... Michael Cole talks about how great WM is. First match....

Alberto Del Rio vs Edge........ Didn't expect this as the first match....

I predict ADR wins the match and becomes the new champion.

Ricardo is introducing him now.

Cole, Josh Matthews and King are doing the announcing for now....

Brodius Clay came out to be in ADR corner. Christian is out to be in Edge's corner!

Match underway at 7:24.. Crowd solidly behind Edge... back after the match.

Edge retains his title at about the 11 minute mark with a spear. ADR had his moved locked in twice but Edge got out of it. Edge had ADR in a modified sharp shooter but ADR got out of it and then Edge hit the spear and got the 1-2-3 to retain.

After the match Edge goes to the Rolls Royce, kicks it, climbs on the roof and jumps up and down on it. Christian comes out with a crow bar and club and Edge scratches up the car, smashes the windshield and stands on top of the roof with the belt.

I am surprised with the outcome of this match and suppose they will continue this storyline with Christian and Clay. Not sure where else they would go with this unless they are going to have Alberto tangle with Sin Cara when he makes his debut.

Cole is verbal sparring with King next match....

Cody Rhodes vs Rey Mysterio

This match is more of a filler for me and Mysterio more than likely gets the win. Not sure where they would go if Rhodes wins in this feud.

During the first match the crowd was pretty dead until the last minute or so of the match. Either they have the crowd sound low, or it was just that bad of a match from a crowd perspective. I thought the match was rather slow and prodding, not the type of match you would expect for an opener of your signature event of the year.

Rey comes out in a Captain America mask...

Match underway at 745PM

Rhodes defeats Mysterio at about the 12 minute mark. Another stunning result. This match was better than the last match, more impact moves and crowd involvement. There was actually Cody chants in the crowd.

Cody removed Rey's knee brace and then Rey took off Cody's mask and used it, the ref finally got the mask and then Cody hit Rey with the brace, hit the cross roads and the 1-2-3.

They are now with Teddy Long and Snoop Dogg and WWE stars are performing raps for Snoop. Very odd segment and a total waste of time.

Just a way to get Snoop on along with Rega, Hornswoggle, Zack Ryder and the Masterpiece.

Next up the Corre vs Big Show, Kane, Santino and Kofi who replaced the Moscow Mauler.

This is a goofy set up of matches so far.

match started 806PM

Well that was a waste of time the match is over at 808PM as Big Show hits the punch on Heath Slater after Santino hit the cobra on him.

A vignette with Rock and Eve. Mae Young comes out and Rock pokes some jokes about her age etc etc.. Mae ends up patting Rock's backside and goes. Then Stone Cold comes out and Rock and Stone Cold chat and end up shaking hands.

Punk and Orton history being shown now.

Lots of wasted time so far. There has been more wasted time than actual wrestling time in the ring so far.

35 minutes of ring time and 40 minutes of wasted motion. After the Rock spent 10 minutes in the ring getting the crowd crazy to start the show, they have done everything to get rid of that energy. I am sure UT and HHH and Miz/Cena will get the crowd going but this has been a train wreck so far.


They are introducing Punk and Orton now. I'll go with Punk on this one, but it's likely Orton will get the win. I can't believe they are putting Cole/King this deep into the card. Perhaps the deal they struck with JR isn't for a lot of matches.

match started at 822PM

Orton wins with the RKO as Punk jumped off the top rope. Another slow match.. 12 minutes total.

Vignette with Mean Gene and Rock. Pee Wee Herman shows up as #1 John Cena fan. Rock asks him if he wants to be part of the Fruit Loop Troop and says this is what he would look like and Mean Gene comes back with a Cena hat and shirt on and Pee Wee says he looks like a tool. Gene, goes, I know what you are, but what am I. Pee Wee then joins the Team Bring it.

Commercial for the true story of WM again.

The Fink introduces the 2011 WWE HOF for this year.

Next up King and Cole Booker T is introduced to go to the broadcast area with Josh Matthews. Booker T is horrible on Smack Down, why they have him as an announcer is silly. They also introduce JR to the table. The crowd goes nuts as the Oklahoma Boomer Sooner song is played.

Cole comes out and says can I have your attention please and starts berating JR. Cole comes out in orange and a team cole jersey. Cole continues to berate JR and King.

This is going to be a squash job with King just smashing Cole. After all of this, there can't be any other outcome.

Swaggers music hits and comes to the ring.

Stonecold's music hits and the crowd goes nuts! SC come down in a 4 wheeler almost runs over Swagger and starts on Cole. Cole runs to his hideout. SC is getting the crowd to cheer for him as he does his 4 corner rope climb.

King is finally announced. Finally after 20 minutes a match is going to start.

Match starts at 855

In a merciful end at 909 the King defeats Cole. Crowd cheered boring during the match and this was another bore a thon match. This has been horrible so far.

Booker T goes in the ring and does a spinaroonie. They shake hands and Austin gives him a beer. Then does a stunner on Booker T.

Message comes in from Raw GM saying Cole wins due to SC interference in the match. King has him say it 2 more times and takes Josh and throws him in the ring and SC stuns him as well. SC leaves on his 4 wheeler.

Now we are getting a recap of the WM week that was.

This has been the most bizarre and awful WM that I can ever recall. I guess I shouldn't be too surprised because of the previous PPV's have been horrible as well.

The King match was pitiful, a 2 minute match, all the time wasted and there has been nothing of any excitement or any back and forth out of your seat type matches yet. We have 4 matches left if memory serves. Miz/Cena HHH/UT Sheamus and the Snookie match.

We are getting yet another replay of UT/HHH build up. I feel bad for those that paid for this.

next up HHH vs UT

HHH comes out to the Whom the Bell Tolls then The Game Music......

here comes the Undertaker and I predict he goes to 19-0

Bell rings at 933PM

Match over at 1002 UT is now 19-0

HHH dominated the match for the most part. Hit 3 pedigrees on UT, Tombstone Pile Driver, Multiple chair shots and more. UT was about to get smashed by the sledgehammer and locked in hell's gate and choked out HHH and HHH tapped out after a few moments in the hold.

Lots of dead moments in the match after HHH hit his moves. But the streak lives!

After the match UT sells he is seriously hurt and they roll out a stretcher and put him on it and cart him off. The show a commercial for WM 2012 in Miami.

Next match is the Snookie match. Vickie comes out first yelling excuse me. This should be a short match since they need to get to the Cena/Miz match, time is running out with less than 50 minutes for the 4 hour mark. Since they wasted a shit load of time on other crap they are going to short change the match.

In another embarrassment to wrestling history Snooki pins Michelle McCool for the win. at 1021PM

A 7 minute match.

71,617 is the announced attendance the largest crowd ever in GA Dome history. More than the SEC Championship and any other entertainment at the arena.

No wasting of time as they are going right into Miz/Cena....

I would love to see Miz retain. But it's unlikely.

They are showing a great vignette for Miz

Miz to the ring with Alex Riley. Now there is a choir on the stage singing for John Cena. My goodness they are making John Cena out to be some kind of hero and underdog here. This is just sickening.

This choir starting singing your time is up my time is now and kept repeating it. The crowd was booing heavily now Cena's music hits and he's on the way to the ring. Why they had an all african american choir do all of this is utterly insane.

I really hope they do a swerve and have Miz retain. The crowd is booing Cena which I am loving. The Miz actually gets more cheers than Cena did. The Rock is nowhere to be found.

Match starts 1037PM

The Miz and John Cena wrestle to a draw on a double count out. The Rock comes down as the buzzer goes off for the Raw GM and Rock restarts the match.

Cena and Miz get in the ring and the Rock does the rock bottom on Cena, Miz covers and retains the title.

Miz music hits and Rock comes back in the ring, hits moves on Miz and eats it up with the crowd as the show ended.

Well WM27 has come and gone and personally I thought it wasn't that great. Granted I am happy that the Undertaker is 19-0 and that the Miz retained his title.

They took off Sheamus and Bryan off the show and it was likely the dark match before WM started it's broadcast.

I don't know why they took that match off, they had a ton of dead time that was totally wasted and the match easily would've been done.

To open the show with a heavyweight title match was unusual and the first time it has ever been done. The match was dead and with all the buildup of ADR, it is very surprising they didn't change titles. I am not sure where this angle goes from here or who steps up to battle Edge unless they are going to continue this feud hence the car damage at the end.

The Rhodes/Mysterio match was a bit of a headscratcher because neither guy has a feud to instantly pick up on and I can't see this feud continuing. With Sin Cara coming in he would be logical to feud with Rey. Where Cody goes from here is unknown unless they plan on having him go after the IC title or something.

The Snoop Dogg segment was horrible and that's being kind. Again just a way to get the talent on the broadcast that wasn't wrestling is the only thing I can possibly think of.

The 8 man tag was a joke, why take Vladimir off the show and put Kofi in for a 2 minute match. No sooner did I type what was going on, it was over. Why bother having the match if it's 2 minutes. Hell have Sheamus squash Daniel Bryan instead. That would have been much better.

Orton over Punk was obvious after Orton took out the prior members of Nexus. I wonder if Nexus is over now. If so what a waste of all the buildup and stuff that took place during the Nexus takeover.

Cole and King was a clusterfuck and a total waste of time. They wasted about 15 minutes on this match and as the saying goes, King got his 15 minutes of fame.

Undertaker/HHH showed how old these guys are and how rusty HHH is and how hurt UT still is. After every HHH power move he would sit in a corner and UT would just get a recovery. This match went way too long for what action took place in it. Glad to see UT 19-0, not sure why the angle of being super hurt at the end was for.

Snookie getting a pin on one of the top lady wrestlers makes me sick. First off I don't know who this Snookie bitch is except some reality show attention whore. They put her over which is mind boggling. They paid her for 3 appearances and have her win. Why? Media attention? Seriously, she should've got her ass kicked and be gone. Why they continue to let non wrestlers win at big events is beyond me.

The Miz/Cena wasn't up to par. Glad to see the Miz retain because I like his brashness and how he comes off and I don't like Cena. The ending was somewhat predictable but still glad it took place.

I can't give this WM an F due UT streak continuing and Miz retaining. But it is definitely a D minus.

There was too much wasted time and not enough wrestling. In total I totaled around 108 minutes of actual ring time. There was a lot of time in between the earlier matches and then it was rushed in the end.

They totally shunned the UT after his win and there wasn't any celebration for him or the crowd after it was over. Tis a shame.

Speaking of the crowd they were totally on their hands 95% of WM. They only got truly excited when the Rock came out, when UT was almost pinned and ultimately won and then in the end when the Rock came out again.

It was nice to hear Cena getting booed and clearly getting booed not the 1/2 like, 1/2 hate type, it was solidly boos. Not sure if that was due to the Rock being there or what, but to see people cheer when Miz kicked out was great.
