Royal Rumble tonight at 8PM Eastern. Who's watching?

Will definitely be watching, pretty much the only PPV I won't miss (aside from WM obviously).

Have heard two huge names as surprises, don't want to ruin it for anybody so I've used the spoiler tag, click if you dare!

One of them I sort of expected the other one is a complete shock..

Don't get your hopes up those, neither one of the surprises are anywhere near Brock Lesnar level, remember I didn't say they were GOOD surprises, just big ones :-)

Dolph vs Edge starting off the ppv.. I wonder how badly they'll book Dolph here.

Thought that was a solid opener, never a bad thing to see Kelly-Kelly out there.

At least this finish doesn't make Ziggler look too weak and they can certainly continue this feud.

30 minute opener sees Edge beat Ziggler with the unprettier. After hitting the spear with the ref down and not seeing the spear used.

I thought it was lame putting KK in the mix with Vickie as she has nothing to do with this feud at all. If anything they should have used Kaitlyn to extend a story line from the NXT and to touch upon what Edge spoke about in a recent show. KK was a waste as far as I am concerned. By the way KK and Drew Mcintyre are a couple as are Micheel McCool and the Undertaker.

Lesnar was a shot, they would use him at WM anyway if it happens. I expect to see Christian or some other mid carder then. I still haven't looked and don't want to know. LOL

I agree with you though Kaitlyn would have made more sense, I just meant it's never bad to see KK.

The Miz is by far the best they have on the mic, he's made tremendous strides and is a really good story from where he started.. definitely hope they keep the belt on him here...

It's Drew and KK not Tiffany. That's why they are doing the angle they are doing right now. Remember she slapped his butt as well on one of the MNR about a month or so ago.

I know it's not Tiffany for certain.

I'm just not a fan of Randy Orton, always find myself bored during his matches :\

If I had one wish it would be to punch Michael Cole in the face repeatedly for 20 minutes.

I have hopes with that finish, Punk vs. Orton could be very interesting.

Giant clusterfuck in the womens title match.

First Eve gets announced into the match to make it a fatal 4-way and she ends up winning yet Michelle had Natayla pinned as well but the ref counted for Eve..

Really hope the Rumble saves this PPV.

Miz retains with the help of Nexus and CM Punk.

Ladies Title turned into a fatal 4 way with Eve added to the match. Eve won the match but McCool also had Natalya pinned for the 3 count as the ref had his back turned.

Too funny they celebrated too early as Santino was still alive playing possum. Too damn funny, they had Santino hit the cobra and try to throw over Del Rio who ducked under and tossed Santino out.

Del Rio's announcer is going nuts, I am loving this. I have my own thoughts on illegals from Mexico but this is good stuff even for WWE as to how they have him come out in fancy cars and the personal announcer.

Overall I'd say it was an average rumble.

2 out of the first 3 matches were brutal.

RR was fine, some good spots but other than Del Rio going over huge with the win, no new interesting storylines arose from it and in the end that's going to hurt the road to WM.

building to miz/cena is fine but I'm so sick of Cena it's unbelievable.

Del Rio/Edge has the potential for some good moments on the mic..

a little surprised that HHH didn't come back tonight.

Ever year they have someone who ducks and hides and this happens. It gets old. Think about this PPV they had a total of 4 matches. 3 title matches and the Rumble.

Now if I had to pay for this, I wouldn't be very happy, thank goodness for streamers on the internet.

While this PPV had some quality moments it had far more boring, stupid and make no sense moments.

Kelly Kelly in the Edge/Ziggler Match, still wondering how they are going to play this off, no way they are planning tag team matches with Edge/KK against Ziggler/Vickie. So what's the pay off here besides they get KK on the show somehow and make Vickie look bad yet again. Vickie the character is a great heel but not used properly. Whoever wrote that spot into this needs to be let go. Seriously what would you plan around that for the future. Keep in mind they do these things to forward a storyline or start a new one. What will be new about it.... ummmmm nothing.....

CM Punk and Nexus coming into the Orton/Miz match. This makes Miz look weaker and they need to solidify him as the champ. He hasn't won a clean match against the "top" talent I believe since he has been the champ. Always a bail out by Punk, Sheamus or Riley. Even against Lawler they used Cole to bail him out.

They are using Miz as a transitional champion it appears because no way would they have two faces such as Orton and Cena going at it. So they have used Miz to take from Orton and a way to give back to Cena. That's the likely direction they go. Why else have Miz go into the rumble match to take out Cena, why not take out Orton? So they got two birds for one stone tonight, they set the heat on Miz with Cena, which Miz will win by DQ or countout every match until WM and they got Del Rio in the mix with Edge now. Since they were heading that way on SD anyway. I think somewhere along the way we see Edge partner up as a tag team with one of his old partners, maybe it will be Rated RKO all over again.

The Hornswoggle bit was a joke, sure it got it's laughs blah blah, but this is to be one of your signature PPV of the year probably 3rd in line behind WM and SS and in the big match of the night you put that crap into it? There wasn't another deserving wrestler on the roster to be in the match?

Now on to Kevin Nash he is a total sell out. I like Nash the wrestler but the person Nash is a total sell out. He had it so easy in TNA and was supposed to come back with Sting and likely would've worked the current story line with Kurt Angle. Well we know that won't happen and I was looking forward to the Main Event Mafia reforming, but with Booker T now in WWE again that won't happen. Booker T is another sell out, they both talked so much trash about WWF/WWE but there they are. Whether it was a one night deal or some short term stint like Bret Hart remains to be seen.

I did like the Alberto Del Rio win but the rumble wasn't really the rumble. They add 10 more guys for no reason. In reality that was 15 minutes of filler time and nothing more. Look at the people that were in the rumble, Hornswoggle, Tyson Kidd, Yoshi, Santino, I mean come on those guys had no chance to win. This was all about the Main Event at WM, they should've used their main event status guys and had a really good brawl in the ring. We didn't have that. The first 20 guys we saw no more than 6 or 7 in the ring at once and it became all nexus for the first 22 or so. After that we saw no more than I think 8 guys in the ring. So they say Cena was in for 30 minutes, so what, so was Punk. They totally screwed this PPV up in a lot of ways.

I really don't see anything great that came out of it and good is a stretch. Oh don't forget the womens match that became a 4 way and the 4th person wins the title? Eve Torrez why did she deserve a win? She hasn't been in the womens picture for months. Why not Beth Phoenix, Melina or KK for that matter?

They wonder why WWE stock is at or near yearly lows and wonder why the buy rates are as low as they are. They can blame the economy all they want, but in reality, it's the quality of the product. Years from now they will look back at this PG era and wonder why it was allowed to happen, why they bowed under pressure because Linda ran for office. If anything they should be full throttle ahead and squash TNA. I love TNA, I actually record MNR, TNA and SD, I would say 99% of the time, I am on FF level 4 on MNR and SD but I will actually watch TNA and not FWD much of it except commercials.

Watch MNR tomorrow, first match or any kind of wrestling won't take place for 15-20 minutes into the show, unless they kick off with a match. We will see Miz, Cena, Punk and Orton out there as always. Miz will talk how he defeated Orton, Orton will come out and complain, then Cena will come out and trash on Miz, then Punk and Nexus will come out. Oh wait, there's the anon raw gm making a tag team match with Punk and Miz vs Cena/Orton. It will be something really close to that, if not, I'll be totally shocked.

Anyway, a long closer here but, I've watched this stuff since I was a young kid. Starting watching with my dad when it was on once a week on channel 9 wor out of new york. It was on at Midnight on Saturdays right after racing from yonkers. Anyone that can remember that knows it was a long time ago.

We shall see what happens between now and WM, but I am nowhere on the edge of my seat just dying to know what will happen.
