I don't like hotlanta.......
they're in phils div. and won way too much when I was a kid! lol
Feel good............i got one for ya:
We saw Atlanta play phily over the 4th of july weekend in phily this yr., we had great seats in right field (home run alley). We got their too late to see the phils BP but made it in time for the braves BP. It had to be 110 deg. that day.....
Well wouldn't you know Chipper Jones was crushing HR after HR, and one was coming our way.....I had my 8 yr old boy w/me and I told him to get ready, this one is all you stew......just as the ball was right near the kids' glove an older kid jumps right in front of us and snags the HR. My kids looks at me all disappointed and upset, and I attempted to blow it of telling him to keep trying........we'll get another shot...
Chipper Jones then rips a one hop smash to the right fielder who was shagging balls. The RF catches it, immediately turns to us and yells "HEY DAD.....CATCH!" and fires me a strike!! Talk about a "feel good" moment!!!! I handed the ball to my boy..... My kid was PUMPED, and SO was I!!!
First time we ever got a ball at a game and it was all thanks to the Professional ball player on the oppsoing team.
PS: I never knew that ML pratice balls, say right on them "practice"
Way cool!!!

Good Story Stew..... Love it.... I never knew they had practice on them either. Interesting. Wondering if there is any difference between them and the real game balls....
