Here is the opening race from Belmont Park to get our day off to a good start:
BEL Race 1 Alw $39,000N1X (1:00 ET)
#7 Who Is Lady 5/2 #6 Casa Di Vino 15/1 #4 In Your Dreams 5/1 #2 Justify 9/5
Analysis: #7 Who Is Lady stalked the early pace, headed for home with the lead and came up just a nose shy last out in a tough beat. It was her first go off a three month layoff for the Bush barn. Ramon picks up the call and rarely rides for this barn. She does have a few too many runner up finishes for my liking, but she catches a weak looking field and the ML fav in here took 20 tries to break her maiden and looks like a big underlay.
#6 Casa Di Vino had to steady in traffic while caught down along the inside on the far turn and did not threaten in the stretch in a seventh place finish going seven furlongs. It was her first go off a 6 1/2 month break. She is eligible to move forward off that effort and she broke her maiden here at today's distance last fall. Worth tossing in the mix here at a generous price.
Wagering
WIN: #7 to win at 2/1 or better. EX: 6,7 / 2,4,6,7 TRI: 6,7 / 2,4,6,7 / 2,4,6,7,8
Today's Featured Race of the Day from Belmont Park:
BEL Race 8 OClm $35,000N1X (4:45 ET)
#1 Tahoe Warrior / #1a I've Got Speed 5/2 #3 Southern Exchange 6/1 #9 Academy Run 3/1 #6 Moon Ala Mode 8/1
Analysis: #1 Tahoe Warrior went gate to wire to beat $20K non winners of a race in six months last out, his sixth career win on turf. The runner up Sly, fourth and seventh place finisher call came out of the race to win next out. The gelding was claimed out of his last start by the RRod barn that is 5 for 8 (with a +ROI) first off the claim and is the hottest barn on the grounds.
Entrymate #1a I've Got Speed completes a strong entry. The Tony D. runner made a good late rally to beat $35K claimers in his last start. The eight year old gelding was making his first start off a 7 1/2 month layoff. This guy is a 14 time winner on turf and 5 for 7 over the turf at Belmont Park. He completes a strong entry.
Wagering
WIN: #1 to win at 9/5 or better. EX: 1,3 / 1,3,6,9 TRI: 1,3 / 1,3,6,9 / 1,3,6,9,10
Live Longshots:
These are price plays for exotic players looking to find a couple of extra contenders to use in their trifecta and superfecta wagers. Or for those with smaller bankrolls, you might want to get in a small win-place wager.

Doubles, Pick 3's, Pick 4: Race 6) 3/6/10 Race 7) 1/2/8 Race 8) 1/3/4 (If a scratch, add #9) Race 9) 2/3/4/9 (If a scratch, add #1) Race 7) 1 1/16 Miles (Turf) Alw 50,000s #1 Star Orchid* Morning line 6-1. It looks like R Dominguez opted off for #2, but connections actually asked C Velasquez to take this one. She was competitive with similar in last, but got toasted dueling with fast fractions. The trainer is looking for a less ambitious early ride for a duplication of the win 2 races back. Safer Bet: a) #1 to Win, Place or Show Exotics: b) Trifecta: 1 with 2/3/5/7/8 with 2/3/5/7/8 Race 8) 6 Furlongs (Inner Turf) OC 35,000/N1X #3 Southern Exchange* Last race was on Kentucky Derby undercard. We all saw the conditions that rainy day. This colt did not like the surface, and was rank. In prior effort, which was his first start of the year, he ran out of track against some very nice stock. Any improvement takes this. Don't think you'll be lucky enough to get morning line odds of 6-1. Safer Bet: a) #3 to Win, Place or Show Exotics: b) Trifecta: 3 with 1/4/6/9/10 with 1/4/6/9/10

Today’s Belmont Park feature is an interesting turf sprint, for three-year-olds and up racing six furlongs.
The Michael Dubb-owned entry of Tahoe Warrior and I’ve Got Speed are coupled as the 5-2 early favorite. Either will be very tough to beat.
Tahoe Warrior’s performance figures are fairly competitive, but what does that matter when you’re claimed into the barn of Rudy Rodriguez, who’s won with five of his nine recent claims. Veteran runner has a very good turn of foot and breaks from the rail.
I’ve Got Speed, meanwhile, is the fastest of these, on balance, is 5-for-7 on Belmont turf and 5-for-6 at the trip. He’s trained by Tony Dutrow, 31 percent effective with repeaters and horse’s last five victories came beneath Ramon Dominguez, re-riding here. With different jockeys named, it is likely that both will run.
Taking the entry to win with no price restrictions, although demand at least 2-1 if only one starts.
Further, key first and second in super-exotics with Southern Exchange (6-1), for Rick Dutrow, a profitable 27 percent with turn-backs, Kingsdale Ocean (20-1), another old pro turning back to his best distance, Academy Run (3-1), who’s never run badly when sprinting on grass, and the in-form Istishaary (9-2) for Team McLaughlin/Garcia.
