Here is today's opener from Aqueduct to get our day off to a good start:

AQU Race 1 Alw $10,000s (1:00 ET)
#4 French Song 4/1
#7 Crazy Thing 3/1
#5 Zip of Fools 5/2
#3 Indy's Forum 5/1

Analysis: #4 French Song did not fire last out in the mud over an inside speed favoring racing strip against $15K starter handicap foes, a race four of these exit. The mare was coming off a tough nose loss two back for a $20K tag ands was claimed out of that race by the Brown barn that does good work with recent claims. This mare is capable of better than what she showed last out and we will blame it on the off going and the track bias and look for a much better effort out of her here.

#7 Crazy Thing exits the same race as our top pick, chasing the gate to wire winner last out in a runner up finish. She makes her second start off the claim by the underrated DiPrima barn. This mare likes the inner, (10-2-6-0) but does like to land for minor shares throughout her career.

Wagering
WIN: #4 to win at 3/1 or better.
EX: 4,7 / 3,4,5,7
TRI: 4,7 / 3,4,5,7 / 3,4,5,6,7

Today's Featured Race of the Day from Aqueduct:

AQU Race 8 OClm $25,000N2X (4:25 ET)
#3 Temore 12/1
#1 The Truffle Man / #1a Gold Vendetta 5/2
#6 Monte Carlo 8/1
#4 Out of Respect 6/5

Analysis: #3 Temore beat Alw-1 state breds last out and was one of the few runners on that card that made up any ground. The racing surface was strongly speed favoring that day, seven going gate to wire. The gelding should see some pace in front of him and figures to get overlooked at the windows in this spot.

#1 The Truffle Man returns off a two month break here for the Jacobson barn. Last out he tracked the early pace and faded to finish sixth at this condition. Two back against open Alw-1 foes he ran a decent third behind a couple of next out winners and three back pressed the pace and weakened to fourth in another key race for a $50K tag. The freshening should do him some good and he won at this condition last June by 9 1/4 lengths.

#4 Out of Respect earned the top last out speed fig but did it aided by a strong inside speed bias. He just might be the underlay of the day.

Wagering
WIN: #3 to win at 5/1 or better.
EX: 1,3 / 1,3,4,6
TRI: 1,3 / 1,3,4,6 / 1,3,4,6,8

Live Longshots:
These are price plays for exotic players looking to find a couple of extra contenders to use in their trifecta and superfecta wagers. Or for those with smaller bankrolls, you might want to get in a small win-place wager.

Aqueduct
R3: #2 Hopeful Boy 10/1
R7: #7 Blue Ridge Etoile 15/1
R8: #3 Temore 12/1
R8: #6 Monte Carlo 8/1
R9: #10 Spiritual Tune 8/1
R9: #5 Deflate the Bubble 8/1

Good luck today!

Tempest Storm romped to an easy win, rewarding our faith in her on the move north from Florida in late February. A front running effort is expected again today and hopefully, a similar result.

#1 Amirahy- made her 2nd career start here on the turf coming off a 4 month vacation and finished a strong second in a full field. Leparoux rides her back and he does much better in his second start with his mounts. She has three fast works since racing and will be fit and ready at a good price.
