Here is today's opening race from Aqueduct to get our day off to a good start:
AQU Race 1 Clm $25,000B (1:00 ET)
#6 Dakota Dunes 4/1
#5 Pewter 7/2
#2 Extinguish 8/1
#3 King Bo Bo 5/1
Analysis: #6 Dakota Dunes had to check at the break, was caught in traffic at the half mile pole, and finished evenly last out in a sixth place finish at this level, catching an inner surface that was playing to inside speed. The gelding was claimed out of the race by the Levine barn that is 38% winners (with a +ROI) first off the claim. His previous three speed figs are a good fit here and looking for this guy to bounce back with a better effort in this spot. He has run well on wet tracks and is bred top and bottom to handle off going, which we might see again today.
#5 Pewter made a mild late rally to finish third last out, beaten 1 1/2 lengths for the top spot and just a head behind #7 Half a Note for the runner up spot. The gelding owns solid early and mid pace numbers and three back this guy earned a solid fig beating $25K non winners of two, over a sealed wet track. Chavez gets the call as Serpa lands on #2 Extinguish. Serpa rode three of these last out and ends up replacing Musarro on our third choice.

Today's Featured Race of the Day from Aqueduct:
AQU Race 8 Alw $40,000N1X (4:25 ET)
#3 Raynick's Jet 2/1
#8 Cajun Jet 3/1
#5 Irving Rules 12/1
#7 Come From Behind 7/2
Analysis: #3 Raynick's Jet cuts back to six furlongs after making a mild wide rally to finish third last out going two turns. The gelding caught an inner surface that was playing to inside speed that day. He broke his maiden in his debut over the surface. He now goes for the Asmussen barn that is 20% winners with newcomers to the barn. Blinkers are added to the mix.
#8 Cajun Jet was the beaten chalk last out when making his first start since last June. He broke awkwardly and was no match for the top pair in a third place finish. The colt earned a solid number in his debut and that came over a muddy surface. He is better than he showed last out and Dutrow is 28% winners with horses making their second start off a +180 day layoff.
