#9 Pistol Rules- In a mile turf race with the rail set at a huge 84 fee, t speed should rule. This one, who loves to show the way on the front end, is coming off two races where the rider did a horrible job getting him left at the gate in both. He still ran huge to be beaten a nose at this level and distance then was only beaten 8 lenghts for 50k. He drops back in for 25k, gets one of the best gate riders on the grounds and he will be the one to catch at a good price.

#7 Kris Silver- Can't knock this 6 year old gelding with a 9-6-5 record from 33 starts. He seems to be getting better with age. He went wire to wire for his first start under new trainer Mullins then was beaten a head. Smith rides him back at his favorite distance and they are the ones to beat.
