Mike Dempsey's Live Longshots:
These are price plays for exotic players looking to find a couple of extra contenders to use in their trifecta and superfecta wagers. Or for those with smaller bankrolls, you might want to get in a small win-place wager.

#4 Unbridled's Ghost is 0 for 5 at today's condition, but now returns with a two month freshening and lands with the Volk barn that is 24% winners with newcomers to the barn. Last out at Philly the five year old set the early fractions and weakened to finish third. The winner of the race was Map of the World, who returned to beat Alw-2 foes on Dec. 6. The runner up Cuvee Rouge was also a next out winner, taking an Alw-1 race on Dec. 5. There are two quick works over at Belmont Park and the 12/1 morning line sure looks generous.

#6 Regal Prince was off poorly and raced wide on the turn last out in a sixth place finish in his first go off a long layoff. The gelding showed promise by winning his first three starts, all against state breds before going to the bench. He is in good hands with the Violette barn and with a better break and trip, this guy figures to move forward second off the layoff.
