New York Liberty at Washington Mystics (-4.5, 150.5)
Tied for second in the tight Eastern Conference, the Mystics are gunning for their first playoff berth in three years, and Lindsey Harding is a big reason.
Playing in the shadow of All-Star Alana Beard, Harding is finally living up to the billing of being the top overall pick in the 2007 draft. The guard was traded to Washington after two injury-plagued seasons in Minnesota and has given the Mystics the boost that they needed.
Harding leads the WNBA in minutes played, averaging 36.0 per game. She is averaging 13.3 points and five assists while shooting 46 percent from the field - all career highs - while averaging 3.9 rebounds.
At home vs. the Liberty on July 18, Harding scored 23 points, including two free throws with 8.2 seconds left that gave the Mystics a 68-67 win. She added seven rebounds and five assists.
Pick: Washington -4.5
