Swagger with his patented finish wins the match. Pretty boring opening match nothing of real value to report here.

Next up Melina vs Beth Phoenix

Personally I like the title on Beth, the schtick with Santino and the super fan is a good one. I can see somehow tonight the super fan costing Beth the title and a feud ensues, but it wouldn't be worth it unless the super fan helps Beth and then they partner up in the future. Should be interesting to see how they play this out.

Melina was dominated in this match but got the victory by roll up. No interference at all during the match. Beth's 5 month reign is over for now...

Next up JBL vs John Cena

JBL tells Shwan to help him and he gets paid and he will insure he gets a spot in the Royal Rumble. JBL leaves and Undertaker confronts Michaels and says something about going to hell before you get to heaven and JBL yells out to come on Shawn without knowing the undertaker was there.

JBL kicks the referee out of the ring..... both guys ended up clotheslining each other. Shawn into the ring and is ready to super kick Cena but delivers it to JBL.

Cena smiles and laughs and then he gets super kicked. Both man lying in the ring, Shawn goes over and drags JBL on top of Cena and leaves the ring.

No ref in site, here comes one running down the ramp, 1 2 Cena lifts out. Both men finally get up to their feet, JBL with a clothesline but no.. Cena ducks and puts on the finisher and gets the pin 1-2-3.... Cena retains.

Next up Hardy vs Edge

hardy hits the ring.... before Edge comes in, Vicky comes out and says it's a no DQ match and then Edge is announced and he comes out with Chavo....

Good match, lots of back and forth action. Chavo interferes a little and Hardy jumps off a ladder and splashed on Chavo on a announcers table.

Hardy later gets ready to pin Edge and Vickie comes down and grabs the ref to stop the count, then Matt Hardy comes to the ring and hands his brother Jeff a chair, tells him to wait and gets another chair and Jeff puts his under Edge's head. Matt takes his chair and clobbers Jeff with it. Edge stares in shock and rolls over and gets the pin 1-2-3

New champ Edge. What a swerve and one long time coming. The jealous brother scenario. After the chair hit to Jeff, the broadcast was silent for 2 minutes for shock and effect.

The way it was played out is that Edge and Vickie had no idea. I guess we will hear it was Matt that caused all the accidents to happen.

Interview with Orton and rumors of a lawsuit being filed on Raw. Orton says he doesn't care, in come Jericho and saying how he liked what Orton did and that the Mr McMahon we saw last weak was a weak version and not the old Mr McMahon we know and that he died.

Orton asks why he is telling him this because it's not going to work that he will let his guard down. Jericho tells him no, it's because he's an honest man and that he likely won't be able to tell him tomorrow because Orton isn't likely to be employed.
