Match 2

Santino Marella and Beth Phoenix defeated Mickie James and Kofi Kingston

Beth got the pin on Mickie

Beth is the new woman's champ and Santino the Intercontinental champ.

HBK comes to the ring with his wife to announce he was retiring and following the doctors orders. As he was thanking everyone, Chris Jericho's music hit and he came to the ring.

Jericho wants HBK to admit it's his fault why he is retiring and won't leave the ring until HBK says it's Jericho's fault and what he did to his eye.

After some back and forth bantering, they went to walk away and Jericho went to punch Sean, he ducked and Jericho clocked Seans wife.

No action after that except people running into the ring to check her out.

I am sure this will play out to Sean not retiring and wanting revenge with Chris... Guess we will find out... but we knew HBK wasn't retiring without a proper send off.

Match 3

Matt Hardy vs Mark Henry

Hards hits the twist of fate 30 seconds into the match and goes for the pin 1-2- Tony Atlas pulls Matt out of the ring and proceeds to beat the hell out of him.

Jeff Hardy comes down to the ring and helps his brother. Henry comes outside the ring and the Hardy's suplex him.

Matt Hardy won the match via DQ when Atlas pulled him out.

A lame match and why they even added it to Summer Slam for this type of match is a joke.

I would think one of the two of them is hurt and they couldn't back the match out, but even still...... waste of $

Match 4

CM PUNK retains the title by defeating JBL in an entertaining match.

Match 5

Triple H defends his title against the Great Kahli and wins with the pedigree. A rather boring match but almost all GK matches are that way. Limited offense and a lot of holds.

Now I know why this match was where it was on the card.

Match 6

In a back and forth good match... Batista pins Cena after 2 Batista Bombs with one of them being after Cena jumped from the top rope and Batista caught him in mid air and slammed him. Cena kicked out of that which angered Batista and he gave a big boot to the head of Cena and then another Batista bomb.

The final match of the night is next.... Edge and the Undertaker.

Final Match

Amazing hell in a cell match saw the Undertaker win it with a concerto, camera shot, spear and choke slam to finish Edge off.

After the match UT came back to the ring and got on a ladder and tossed Edge down and the famous hole in the ring collapse took place.

A few minutes later huge flame balls came out of the hole, making it look like Edge burned in hell.

During the match Edge got in some awesome offense that took part of the cell down and then did a running across the ring announcer tables to spear UT through one of the announcers tables.

He also hit the Taker with the camera and some other high flying moves in what was pretty impressive.

By far the best match of the night and nothing came close to it.

The last two matches saved this Summer Slam as the other matches weren't anything of substance.

I actually attended a Summer Slam event in Phoenix when they did the chamber match.

I rate this SS a B- it would've been way lower if not for the final two matches.
